In 1953, when Kuwait National Airways was formed, a five-year management contract was signed with British International Airlines (BIA) and by March 16, 1954, the airline’s operations commenced after the successful purchase of two Dakotas. The carrier became known as “Kuwait Airways” in July 1955, and it took over the BIA in April 1959.

A Look Into Their Origins
Kuwait Airways is the national airline of Kuwait, based and headquartered in Al Farwaniyah Governorate, Kuwait, with a main hub located at Kuwait International Airport from which it operates scheduled international services. Kuwait Airways flies to destinations in the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America. This Middle Eastern carrier is also a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.
Ms. Rasha al-Roumi has been the Chairman, CEO, Managing Director, and Director of Kuwait Airways since December 2013.

However, the most recent of the Kuwait Airways reviews was rated 9/10 and was entitled, “pleased with my experience,” wherein the reviewer shared his appreciation for the airline’s “new aircraft, good food, nice cabin crew and inflight entertainment.” Another of the Kuwait Airways reviews said that even the cabin interiors was praiseworthy, and that this airline creates a great onboard experience for all passengers.

Their website is simple and engaging with a dark and light blue colour contrast forming the main theme background. From their homepage, visitors can perform the usual airline website functions such as plan and book and manage their bookings. Also, the option to interchange the language is located at the upper righthand portion of the page, though it is at English by default.

In fact, they feature actual flight destinations which are the equivalent of a specified number of miles accumulated.
